Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how 狂言劇場 ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App. The App is a utility that relays concert lighting commands to Ado Light Stick BLE devices. We take privacy seriously and have designed the App to collect only what is strictly necessary for its core function.

1. Information the App Accesses

Bluetooth (BLE). The App scans for and connects to nearby Ado Light Stick devices over Bluetooth Low Energy. The App reads the device's advertised local name and signal strength. No Bluetooth data is stored or shared beyond your device.

Push Notification Token. The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to receive silent, data-only push notifications from the concert controller. An FCM device token is sent to our server (api.kyogengekijo.xyz) so the server can route per-seat lighting commands to the correct device. This token does not identify you personally and is deleted from the server when the binding expires (5-hour TTL).

Device Identifier. The BLE peripheral UUID of your connected light stick is sent to our server alongside your seat assignment to enable targeted lighting commands. This identifier is a hardware address local to your phone and does not reveal your identity.

Seat Assignment. The row and column you select in the App are stored locally on your device and sent to our server to associate your light stick with a specific seat for the duration of the concert.

2. Information the App Does NOT Collect

The App does not collect, access, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location (GPS or coarse)
• Photos, videos, or microphone data
• Health, fitness, or biometric data
• Financial or payment information
• Browsing history or app usage analytics
• Any identifiers from other apps or websites

3. How Information Is Used

All data accessed by the App is used solely for the following purposes:

• Discovering and connecting to your Ado Light Stick via BLE
• Receiving concert lighting commands via push notification
• Routing the correct lighting commands to the correct light stick based on your seat assignment
• Storing your seat preference locally so you don't need to re-enter it

No data is used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the App's core relay function.

4. Data Storage and Retention

On your device: Your seat assignment (row and column) is stored locally using the standard on-device storage provided by your operating system. This data stays on your device and is never shared except as described above.

On our server: The FCM token and device binding are stored with a 5-hour time-to-live (TTL), after which they are automatically deleted. The server retains no persistent record of your token, device ID, or seat assignment beyond this window.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) — for delivering push notifications. See Google's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or advertising networks are included in the App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.

7. Your Rights

Since the App does not collect personal information that identifies you, there is no user account, profile, or stored personal data to access, correct, or delete. You may stop all data transmission by uninstalling the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
